Key Responsibilities Design and define API architecture and standards. Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable API solutions. Ensure API security, reliability, and performance. Establish and enforce best practices for API development. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools. Document architectural decisions and API specifications. Mentor and guide software engineers on API-related topics. Review and improve existing API implementations. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and align API strategy. Monitor API usage and optimize for scalability and efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field. Proven experience designing and implementing APIs. Strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles. Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms. Familiarity with API security standards and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with API management tools and platforms. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
