We are looking for Occupational Therapists, Psychologists or Social Workers with previous experience and knowledge of autonomously assessing and diagnosing for Autism. ProblemShared has created strong partnerships servicing several NHS, university, and insurer contracts to deliver high quality ADHD and Autism assessments as well as assessments for learning differences. We offer wrap-around care in the form of psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy sessions all under one roof. What you will do Use your clinical and autonomous judgement (with Clinical Team Lead oversight) and experience to make treatment decisions using your highly developed skills and knowledge in the management of adults and young people with Autism; and provide remote ASC assessments as part of a pair of two clinicians. (One practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R within each assessment) Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care Complete client records/reports with accuracy and timeliness on our clinical platform Make recommendations on any additional assessments or interventions required (as appropriate) to the client within the report Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, and multi-disciplinary team meetings/case discussions What you will need to be successful in this role (we will ask for evidence prior to offer) At least 12 months independently assessing and diagnosing using both ADOS and ADIR Ability to undertake both ADOS and ADI-R is essential. MDTs are held when required with Team Leads and, where warranted, with input from our psychiatry colleagues Ability to work effectively to manage own caseload Current NMC, HCPC or Social Work England registration with no restrictions on practice (will will ask for evidence prior to offer together with your certificates) Up to date knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of Autism What we offer Fee rate based on assessment (1 per day) Fully remote working The opportunity to innovate and shape the delivery of best in class care Joining our dynamic community of Mental / Mind Health professionals where learning and collaboration are keys to our success Ability to plan ahead and book your availability up to 4 months in advance (Contractors) Our Recruitment Process and Next Steps At ProblemShared, we see beyond just your CV.
