  • Desired experience working within Local authority or central government contracts within London or the surrounding home counties.
  • Has experience of managing mechanical services projects.
  • Lives within the M25 or surrounding home counties.
  • Has experience working on social housing projects including retrofit andrefurbishment projects.
  • Has a desire to take ownership of the role and growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day supervisory/management of site construction activities including direct labour and sub-contractors whilst communicating and coordinating key project duties.
  • Monitoring of the overall progress of works against the agreed construction programme.
  • Working with the client and own team in managing day to day challenges
  • Completing site progress reports and issuing to the Project / Contracts Manager.
  • Liaising with the commercial team to co-ordinate changes/variations
  • Maintaining accurate on-site records of all goods received on a weekly basis ensuring that these (including all delivery notes) are correctly processed.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Deputising for the Project / Contract Manager if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Appropriate qualifications in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience working as a Site or Contract Supervisor within the Construction/ME industry is essential. Working within Local Authority Contracts would be an advantage.
  • Relevant Health and Safety qualifications such as a SSSTS/ISOH/NEBOSH
  • Experience of delivering Contract as the Mechanical Contractor
  • Excellent working knowledge of all MS office applications
  • To have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the public
