Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining a variety of systems and equipment, ensuring they meet both company standards and client requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Setup :
Install and configure equipment and systems at customer sites.
Perform system tests to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
Technical Support :
Provide on-site and remote technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Assist customers with operational training and usage instructions.
Maintenance and Repair :
Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
Update and upgrade systems as needed to enhance functionality and efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and customer interactions.
Prepare detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
Customer Service :
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous interactions.
Compliance and Safety :
Adhere to all company and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
Qualifications:
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
Experience :
Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of technical systems or equipment.
Experience in customer-facing roles, providing technical support and training.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
Familiarity with various tools and testing equipment used in installations.
Soft Skills :
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Other Requirements :
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
Working Conditions:
This position may require working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and at heights.
Physical requirements may include lifting heavy equipment and standing or walking for extended periods.
