Cyber Risk & Information Security Manager Hybrid: Glasgow 2 Days a week
Around £75,000 with a bonus up to 10%

About the Role:
We are looking for a Cyber Risk & Information Security Manager . In this role, you’ll be responsible for protecting our client's from cyber threats by managing risk, developing mitigation plans, and providing leadership with independent assurance of our cybersecurity posture.
You’ll work closely with the 1st Line cyber team to ensure our security strategies align with business needs. Additionally, you will help shape and lead initiatives around data security, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management: Maintain and improve our information security risk framework. Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and ensure we comply with industry standards.
Data Security: Oversee data protection measures, including managing Microsoft’s Purview data governance platform.
Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, ensuring we meet KPIs and take corrective action.
Compliance: Ensure our security practices align with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support the security team. Set goals and drive the team’s development while contributing to the overall security strategy.

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Risk Management and Information Security.
Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework .
Experience in Data Loss Prevention and Microsoft Purview .
Proven risk analysis and decision-making skills.
Desirable:
CISSP, CRISC, or CISM certifications .
Knowledge of GDPR , PCI-DSS , and cloud/hybrid enterprise networks .
Experience managing audits, third parties, and working with GRC tools.
