Accounts Payable Technician
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently processing Vendor invoices, reconcile Vendor sub-ledger on a regular basis to statements of account, effectively liaise with Vendors as appropriate and process effectively and efficiently the internal employee expense processes providing an effective service.
Responsible of processing purchase invoices in line with the company's policy, including checking cost centre and General ledger coding to ensure accurate reporting,
Monthly & quarterly reconciliations, including Bank, control accounts, vendor, season ticket loan, credit cards (Audit File),
Ensure all AP processes are documented effectively, detailing areas of financial judgement,
Pursue accounts payable process improvements, creating more robust controls and driving efficiencies,
Assist in other areas of the team where appropriate and any other ad-hoc task as assigned,
Assist the Senior FP&A Accountant with ad-hoc projects.
Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
Good Excel skills
University Degree /study for an accounting professional qualification
