Full Job DescriptionAn experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager isneeded to join our team at Mobile Data Collection, a leading globalAuto-ID specialist based in Swallowfield on a full-time basis.
We continually build upon our worldwide client base of over8,000 customers and contacts. We offer state-of-the-art Auto ID/datascanning hardware (scanners, printers, tablets, handhelds) from allthe main manufacturers.
You will be the key point of contactbetween the Sales Team, the organisation, and its clients, answeringqueries, offering advice, and introducing new products.
Thisrole offers excellent earning potential with an OTE of £65,000+, alongwith excellent career development opportunities and a company phone

About the Role
You will be expected to reach your own monthly sales target andperform with the Sales Team through a mixture of developing sales withour existing clients and new markets for our services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hiring newsales team members and coaching the sales team
- Conductregular sales forecasts and ongoing projects
- Evaluatingperformance and overseeing sales strategy
- Daily management ofexisting customers, with growth expectations
- 'Warm lead'calling, telesales to existing clients, and cold calling new clients
- Database management and sales project management
- Representing the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions,and events to generate leads
- Face-to-face selling andcustomer visits across the UK
- Take ownership of currentnon-managed accounts within the UK
RequiredExperience:
- Able to demonstrate extensiveaccount management and Sales Management experience
- Experience in analysing sales data, proactive in anticipatingneeds and seeking opportunities to add value and business acumen topresent this to the board
- Excellent interpersonal skills,experience in successfully building lasting relationships andinfluencing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersat all levels
- Able to manage a range of simultaneous diverseactivities and projects with our sales team
- Strong verbal,written and presentation skills
- Excellent IT skills withexperience of working with a range of database and networkinfrastructures
- Full valid driving licence
- Fluentin English or bilingual German is advantageous

- You enjoy being on the phone andstrive for success
- Driven and hungry for sales you will bemotivated by the opportunity to earn uncapped commission driven to hitthe phones to achieve this and motivate the sales team at the sametime
- Able to work as part of a team and team leader whilealso being capable of working independently
- Ability toconnect with people predominantly on the phone, but you should also beable to have the persuasive and professional business acumen to offerconstructive face-to-face meetings
- Self-motivated with aflexible attitude
- Able to present a positive professionalimage of MDC Ltd at all times
