TROX UK is recruiting for a Quality Control and Improvement Engineer, based at our manufacturing site in Thetford, Norfolk.

THE ROLE:

TROX UK is recruiting for a Quality Control and Improvement Engineer (Production).

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this Quality Control and Improvement Engineer (Production) will primarily focus on monitoring, supporting and continuous improvement of the TROX production team processes and activities which ensure that TROX UK manufactured product quality is maintained at the highest level. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to building high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

The post holder will be based within the location of TROX UK Ltd, Thetford, Norfolk

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

· Be passionate about quality and deliveringexcellence

· Must be computer literate and familiar withMicrosoft Office Suite of programs with Word and Excel as a minimum withknowledge and use of logical formulae.

· Be able to read, follow and ensure compliance todocumented written instructions and specifications.

· Have excellent analytical skills – to understandthe complexity of some problems in order to identify the root cause(s) andexecute corrective and improvement action(s).

· Have diplomatic and fair judgement indetermining root cause where issues and/or concerns arise.

· Be of strong and resilient character to ensurequality standards are improved in a robust manufacturing environment.

· Have good planning, time management andorganisational skills.

· Have good verbal communication and writtenskills.

· To be able to work with minimal supervision.

· To be approachable for feedback or receipt ofconcerns.

· Be confident to discuss, enforce and recommendconcerns, solutions and constraints at the highest level.

· Have the ability to train others in updatedquality processes to ensure quality is maintained.

· Have a flexible approach and the ability to workas part of a team and/or individually as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background inengineering and quality control, an exceptional attention to detail and a proactivemindset. You should be educated to HNC minimum in a Quality or MechanicalEngineering background or have the equivalent work-related experience in asimilar environment.
