Leicester, United Kingdom NEXT Retail Ltd. Full time

As part of our International division you will have a key role in helping grow the Next business through International third parties. You will be working within a commercially driven department, where our aim is to grow sales and increase the visibility of NEXT worldwide. You will help support the team by managing the operational activity and ensuring stock is delivered to our third party customers in a timely and effective manner. You will be working closely with various internal and external stakeholders such as our product teams, distribution, customer services, finance, as well as numerous international external contacts.

About the role

  • Partner Management – you’ll be a key point of contact between our partner and Next.
  • Ownership of all aspects of the product onboarding and launch process including data management.
  • Strategy development to drive conversion, sales and profit.
  • Supporting Manager with product selection in line with budgets set.
  • Reporting and analysis on sales, key metrics, trends and promotions.
  • Market Analysis - Awareness of international market trends.
  • Travel to international sites, working with partners to ensure all products are live and correctly merchandised.
  • Manage logistics and customer service KPIs and ensure a close line of communication with relevant teams.
  • Build a close understanding of the trading calendars and customer shopping behaviours to exploit key trading opportunities.
  • Confident presenter, able to communicate across all levels of the business and a positive influence on senior team members, to win support for positive change and growth.
  • Develop a network of productive relationships internally and externally that helps ensure developments are considered and supported.
  • Deputise for the Wholesale Manager in meetings and reviews when required.

About you

  • Merchandising experience either within an international retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Highly analytical, confident with numbers and able to spot issues, patterns and trends.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to present to a range of audiences.
  • Motivates others through personal examples with a clear sense of vision, direction and belief.
  • Extremely organised and able to manage time effectively to juggle ad-hoc work alongside usual tasks and longer-term projects.
