In this role you will be responsible for creating and developing new flavors, ensuring they meet market trends and consumer preferences. Key Responsibilities: Develop and formulate new flavours for a wide range of food and beverage products. Experiment with different ingredients and combinations to create unique and appealing flavors. Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to refine flavour profiles. Stay updated with industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging flavour profiles. Analyze market data to identify opportunities for new flavour development. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure flavours align with brand strategy and market demands. Utilize advanced flavour chemistry knowledge to create stable and reproducible flavors. Ensure all flavour formulations comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Maintain detailed documentation of flavour formulations, processes, and testing results. Work closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful scale-up and commercialization of new flavors. Partner with procurement to source high-quality raw materials for flavor creation. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in flavour chemistry is a plus. Ideally 5+ years of experience as a flavourist in the Food & Beverage industry. Proven track record of developing successful flavours and launching new products. Strong knowledge of flavour chemistry, ingredient functionality, and food processing technologies. Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into tangible flavours. Excellent sensory evaluation skills and attention to detail.
