Reports to: Business Development Director
To identify market sectors beneficial for Facilities to work in
• To identify commercial properties and / or organisations in those sectors that Vertex would like to work with
• Identify and obtain opportunity time scales e.g. maintenance contract renewal dates
• Completing the Commercial analysis & Risk profile
• Completing an analysis of the Specification
• Generate new sales opportunities
• To assist with marketing, PR and advertising functions across Facilities to promote the company including, but not limited to:
• Maintaining accurate and organised project files
• Website and intranet updates
To assist with sales and business development functions across the company to promote the company including, but not limited to:
• Representing the company at events and exhibitions
• To be a ‘team player’ within the office
Helping colleagues, as and when necessary, especially to meet deadlines
Personal/Professional Development:
The post-holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the Facilities team as part of this employment, such training to include:
Participation in an annual individual performance review, including taking responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and/or professional development.
Taking responsibility for own development, learning and performance and demonstrating skills and activities to others who are undertaking similar work.

Identifying the risks involved in work activities and understanding such activities in a way that manages those risks.
Making effective use of training to update knowledge and skills
