As a Structural Design & Analysis Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working on the design of submarine components that are crucial to our operations. Conducting structural design for submarine components, ensuring compliance with load cases and safety factors.
Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess the structural integrity and performance of submarine systems.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create integrated system solutions.
Compiling evidence to demonstrate compliance with functional, safety, and performance requirements.
Preparing and reviewing detailed design and analysis reports, including analytical structural calculations.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for engineering and a proven track record in the following areas:
Experience in the design and specification of rotating machinery, including gears, shafts, bearings, and couplings.
Expertise in the design and analysis of heat exchangers and structural components.
Proficiency in structural design using industry-standard software tools, with knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., A solid understanding of the engineering lifecycle, from concept design to end-of-life disposal.
