Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive/motorsport wiring systems, with expertise in the test and development of wire harnesses and looms. You will play a key role in leading and mentoring other technicians, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, assemble, and test complex wire harnesses and looms for automotive and motorsport applications.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, providing effective solutions to technical issues.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support new product development and prototype builds.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical systems and automotive technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in the automotive or motorsport industry, with a focus on complex wire harnesses and looms.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles and testing methodologies.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and develop junior technicians.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
