The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a Global Communications company as their Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Engineering Scheduling (AV diary management Planning)
  2. Assisting engineers while onsite
  3. Booking engineer travel
  4. Assigning engineers to projects/service calls
  5. Ensuring all qualifications are current/booking engineers on courses to expand their knowledge
  6. Finding engineering resource for jobs/projects
  7. Approving Engineering overtime
  8. Approving Engineering expenses
  9. Approving Engineering fuel car expenses
  10. RAMS
  11. Booking responding to service call outs
  12. Sending service job reports to customers
  13. Escalation point for customers and general customer service
  14. RMAs Returns
  15. Validating approving contractor timesheets
  16. Managing and responding to all support emails requests
  17. Assigning engineer to service calls
  18. Arranging install dates/scheduling with customers and any facilities requirements
  19. Obtaining SOW from surveying engineer
  20. Ensuring you have all kit equipment for project
  21. Organising delivery of equipment logistics
  22. Ensuring update of stock sheet

And all management of operations. Based in Surrey, salary will be GBP50k p.a. plus pension and benefits.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate will have Audio Visual and Video Conferencing engineering experience and management experience in this market. Ideally with international experience as offices are worldwide due to the nature of the business. You will be an effective leader who has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will focus on best practice and awesome customer service.
