The Profs is an and innovative EdTech business providing higher education tutoring and admissions consulting to clients and institutions around the world. We are now looking to build on our phenomenal growth and expand our sales team.

We have won numerous awards including Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Forbes 30 under 30, an innovation grant from the Department of Education, the UK’s top tutoring company from Education Investor, and have featured in the UK’s top 100 startups. The Profs was founded by the Evans brothers in 2015 with a view to pairing tutors and technology in order to help students achieve their personal goals.

As part of our goals of continued growth within our Sales team we are looking for a talented Graduate to join our Tuition Sales Team to help us smash our targets and support as many students as possible to achieve life changing academic success

You will be the first port of call for new tuition enquiries via telephone and our website. This is a solely inbound sales role, which means no outbound cold calling We gauge success not just in terms of number of matches but also the quality of the match in creating a long term relationship with the client/tutor. You’ll use your Sales skills to help clients realise the benefit of working with us and then get them set up with the most suitable tutor.

Your day-to-day will have a particular focus on sales, client management and tutor engagement, with a big emphasis on selling our support to clients. In addition, there will also be opportunities to work with the wider team to help develop our strategy to make sure we are always working in the most efficient and effective way.

Our approach to customer success doesn’t solely focus on post-purchase support; whilst you are expected to maintain relationships with existing clients, we define customer success as a sales focused role that's all about developing strong relationships from first contact.

5 hours per week Mondays - Fridays, 9:00-17:00 (3 days) 9:00-18.Location: This role will be a hybrid of in-office and working from home. In your first few weeks you’ll need to be in the office full time in order to be fully onboarded. Once training has been completed, we operate a 3 days in office 2 days wfh policy.

The Profs office is located in Canary Wharf, East London. Some of our more recent social events have been Axe throwing, Electric Shuffleboard, Virtual Clay Pigeon shooting and Curling. In addition to this, our office comes with a free Gym
