Job Title: Asbestos Laboratory Analyst Location: Walsall, West Midlands Salary/Benefits: £24k - £32k + Training & Benefits We are looking for a P401 qualified Asbestos Laboratory Analyst, for our well-established and professional Client in the Midlands. Candidates will need to be well-versed in undertaking Analysis through PLM & Microscopy processes. Ideally candidates will need to be able to work efficiently, both independently, and as part of a team. Candidates will need to be able to commute to the laboratory daily. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working as an Asbestos Laboratory Analyst
  • Candidates will need to hold the BOHS P401
  • Strong IT and written abilities
  • Excellent industry knowledge and understanding of UKAS and HSE guidelines
The Role:
  • Undertaking bulk analysis of suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) through PLM & Microscopy processes
  • Upholding UKAS and Health & Safety guidelines within the laboratory
  • Completing general administrative tasks, such as updating records and inputting data / results
  • Issuing certificates upon completion of works
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas
