Job Description

THE FIRM

Our client is a market-leading investment group, specialising in renewable energies. Their impressive portfolio consists of over 1.2 GW of solar PV projects in operation / under-construction, and they are looking to enter further European markets, as well as diversify their asset coverage. With this, they are seeking a dynamic Director to join their London office.

THE ROLE

As a Director, you'll also be expected to:

  • Independently leading and coordinating the transaction execution for Debt Financings (senior, junior, unitranche)
  • Leading negotiations with banks, institutional investors and infrastructure debt funds
  • Coordinating and liaising with all involved internal and external due diligence parties across different jurisdictions
  • Coordinating the development of complex cashflow based financial models and performing debt sizing
  • Support origination efforts within the team

THE CANDIDATE

The candidate must satisfy the below requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience from an IPP, infrastructure debt fund, project finance bank, debt advisory or private equity fund
  • Excellent knowledge of the renewable energy space
  • Strong track record of negotiating and executing transactions ideally some in Junior credit
  • Robust technical foundation
  • Proactive, high energy, self-confident and entrepreneurial mindset
