PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join on a 6 month fixed term basis. 

As a Senior Instrument Engineer, you will play a crucial role in being instrument job responsible engineer on various multidiscipline projects to ensure successful execution within budget and timescale

Details/duties:

  • Provide day-to-day instrument discipline support for allocated projects.
  • Provide input to project planning.
  • Prepare CTR estimates for new Instrument scopes or changes to existing scopes. 
  • Report weekly progress updates to project manager & lead engineer.
  • Knowledge of field instrumentation and valves. 
  • Preparation of Instrument engineering deliverables (scopes of work, specifications, datasheets, calculations, etc)
  • Preform engineering checks on engineering and design deliverables
  • Coordinate designers in preparation of design deliverables

Qualifications/Experience required: 

  • Proven oil & gas industry experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honours or above), Professional/Chartered Engineer (preferred)
  • TUV Functional Safety Certification (Preferred)
