Night QC Operator
Reporting to QC Supervisor
Hours: Mon-Fri early/late 40hr week and 7-day fortnight, 80hours over two weeks.

Our QC department is responsible for ensuring that all the content we deliver to broadcasters, cinemas, home entertainment and VOD platforms looks and sounds flawless, exactly as the director intended.
Experienced QC professionals; our team of highly trained experts use a combination of manual and automated QC processes to identify any issues that will impair the viewers enjoyment. This will include a complete analysis of video, audio and metadata in controlled conditions using eye and ear along with specialist software to detect any issues.
This role has been identified as instrumental in driving optimal quality standards across the QC department. Reporting to the QC Supervisor you will be responsible for reviewing content from all our clients, generating log reports that can be sent directly to them. This role will command a good eye for detail, strategic thinking and provide expertise throughout the entire QC process. A strong sense of quality of ownership and a can-do approach is also required with the ability to work hard on your own initiative whilst maintaining focus to meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be adept at managing multiple stakeholders during fast-paced, high-pressure projects. Expert knowledge of QC workflows in the digital media supply chain industry with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Ability to work on multiple projects whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Experience with leading continuous improvement projects.
The immediate focus:
Achieve quality targets set by the Clients, platforms, broadcaster and VDMS
Be an expert for all QC workflows and technologies.
Help maintain client relationships and client retention alongside the account management and sales team.
Operational QC work for all clients
Represent and uphold all department policies and procedures and maintain an exceptional level of service within the Operational area.
Maintain an awareness of Visual Data’s client’s core challenges and internal deadlines.
Identify areas in the department that would benefit from development and assist with the design and implementation of in-house systems and tools.
Help identify and recommend improvements in QC workflows and processes.
Communicate all hardware faults or software issues to the HOD and Technical Support.
Uphold and monitor Visual Data’s security measures and polices within your departments.
