Siamo Recruitment are working alongside a world class car restoration specialist based in South Cerney. Our client delivers re-imagined, modified, and restored classic cars throughout the UK and European market.
This specific role requires a specialist Mechanic who has worked with Porsche's, specifically 911 and 356's. Due to exciting growth in projects our client seeks a Mechanic to join their prizewinning, and triumphant business.
You will have the opportunity to work with best in their field, contributing your craftsmanship and expertise into projects along side advanced small teams.
Stripping engines and carrying out diagnostics for repairs will be second nature as you rebuild engines to the highest standard including detailed measuring and blueprinting.
You, the Mechanic will use CNC machining to ensure precision and accuracy during builds to support with complex designs and tight tolerances.
This Position offers the opportunity to become part of a reputable company, playing a crucial role in future business ventures and projects.
Monday – Friday 42.Flexible hours between 07:00am – 18:00pm

This Mechanic (Porsche) vacancy will have the following responsibilities:
Carry out full diagnostics and planning repairs and/or modifications
Using CNC machining to ensure precision and accuracy during builds
Adapting throughout builds to the incorporation of contemporary automotive technology into classic vehicles.
Previous exposure within a similar or same role in the automotive industry essential
Basic CNC turning and milling skills
An enthusiasm for the incorporation of contemporary automotive technology into classic vehicles.
Strong and meticulous communication between departments and other individuals within workshop
