Thrifty Car and Van Rental are recruiting for a Maintenance Advisorin our Fleet Maintenance Department based at our Exeter Head Office.

You will be part of a small friendly team that is striving tooffer the highest levels of support to the business. The rolecomprises responsibilities for monitoring the compliance of ourvehicle assets and requires high levels of administrative accuracy.

The key responsibilitiesinclude:

Review and action all emails into the Maintenanceand fixed inboxs

Review and action vehicles on O/S, progresschase with locations and suppliers, reporting and discussing pinchpoints with the supervisor or manager if the supervisor isnt available

Ensure all loss of use opportunities are explored and systemskept up to date.

Ensure the AA breakdown and non-deploymentreports are completed each working day, allocating ARFs to chargeablejobs and notifying on non-deployed jobs.

Ensure the key requestprocess is actioned daily

Ensure the screen calibration processis actioned where we receive notification from our glass supplier thatthey were unable to calibrate vehicles

Ensure credit cardreceipts are correctly logged on the concur portal and submitted withthe Thriftynet Purchase order then closed

Ensure repair costsare at correctly discounted levels and all supporting documentationwhere required for an ARF recharge is stored centrally

Allocating work to the co-ordinators and advisors, to ensureteam objectives and tasks are being carried out, ensuring efficiencyis achieved at all times.

Following the escalation process iflocations are not complying to the agreed timeframe

Ensure tasklists are completed and up to date

Be willing to undertake andperform any other duties as maybe reasonably required of them by theirline supervisor or manager

Complying with Company policies atall times

Skills, Experience and/orQualifications Required

Have a technical background invehicle maintenance

May come from a vehicle dealership (serviceor aftersales), or other service, maintenance, or repair organisation

Be IT literate

Have the ability to multi-task

Beconscientious and thorough in the management of data

Be able towork under pressure to tight deadlines and work in a busy officeenvironment

Have a flexible approach to work

Have aconfident telephone manner

Be able to work well on owninitiative and as a member of the Maintenance team

Hours of work

Monday Friday

Between thehours of 8am and 5.30pm

37.5 hours per week
