Randstad are looking for proactive residential childcare workers to join a beautiful house in Fife. Situated in a rural location this house is newly built with a stunning kitchen, large lounge spaces and beautiful sea views Salary up to £27,000 depending on experience and qualifications and comprises of 38 hours per week.

What can Randstad offer a residential childcare worker?

Thorough induction period and access to industry leading training
A successful residential childcare worker will be responsible for:

- Providing 24 hours care to a vulnerable young people

- Creating a homely and nurturing environment where young people feel safe

- Supporting young people with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties

- Collaborating with the team in the house, schools, other professionals and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people in your care

- Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards

- Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays and Christmas period

Have previous experience working in a residential setting with young people

- Be willing to undertake relevant professional training

- Full driving licence (essential)

- Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
