Hours: 37 hours per weekSalary: £26225.85 per annum Job Type: Permanent (with continuous service review in March 2025)Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays & 5 office closure days Location: King’s LynnPension: 4.5% ContributionWould you like to make a difference in people's lives and positively impact the community?The Role:We are seeking a personable, results-driven and organised individual to join our team as a Debt Caseworker in the King’s Lynn area.You will provide a comprehensive assessment and advice service on all debt-related matters to our diverse clients, addressing potentially complex issues face-to-face from our King’s Lynn office. The role entails ongoing casework aimed at achieving the most optimal financial outcomes for our clients.What we are looking for:We will provide full training.However, we will favour applicants who demonstrate the following experience:· Comprehensive understanding and application of equality, diversity and inclusion principles in accredited advice provision· Ability to recognise safeguarding concerns and facilitate appropriate referrals· Proficiency in addressing various advice issues, particularly in welfare benefits (including Universal Credit), Debt, Housing and Employment· Strong IT skills to support clients in accessing information using IT systems · Prior experience as an accredited adviser in a similar work environment· Experience in supporting volunteers We offer our staff:· Comprehensive induction and training to become an accredited Adviser· Ongoing support and professional development· 4.5% employer pension contribution· Opportunity for flexible working· Access to Employee Assistance Programme· 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 5 office closure days (3 at Christmas and 2 in the summer) (pro rata)The deadline for submission is Tuesday 2nd of July.
