SEN Learning Support Assistant - Eastbourne - June 2024

Are you an ambitious individual looking to kickstart a career in education?

Perhaps you already have experience and would like a new challenge of working with secondary children with SEN?

A 'good' mainstream secondary school in a lovely area of Eastbourne is welcoming applications to their SEN Learning Support Assistant position. You'll be working with their cohort of SEN students who need additional support, going to different lessons with them helping to break down and adapt certain tasks to meet their needs. You will ideally have some experience either personally or professionally of working with/being around children with SEN.

Work closely with the inclusion team and teachers to understand the needs of the children
Ensure that equipment and facilities are safe for the children to use
A genuine desire to work with children with special education needs
You will require a DBS check (which we can support you with)
You must not be barred from working with children
