Who Are We?
Suportr League is a UK based pre-revenue gaming start up offering a unique play to earn gaming experience for sports fans.
What Do We Need?
We are looking for a talented Game Animator Artist (Unity & Unreal) Cofounder to join our expanding core founder team.
What’s on Offer?
As we are currently pre-revenue, we are unable to offer a salary currently. However, we are offering a unique opportunity to join us as a cofounder, with generous equity and profit-sharing options that provide a significant stake in the future success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Animation Creation:
- Design and implement high-quality animations for characters, environments, and special effects for Unity / Unreal engines.
- Work closely with the design, art, and development teams to ensure animations align with the overall artistic vision of the game.
- Rig and skin models to create smooth, realistic, and dynamic movements for various in-game assets.
Optimisation and Integration:
- Optimise animations for real-time performance across multiple platforms, ensuring smooth gameplay without sacrificing visual quality.
- Integrate animations into Unity and Unreal game environments, collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and refine the implementation.
Collaboration and Prototyping:
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions with the team to prototype new gameplay features and animation techniques.
- Provide input on how animations can enhance the overall user experience, gameplay fluidity, and storytelling elements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in animation.
- Continuously refine existing animations and propose improvements as the project evolves.
Prerequisites:
- Experience in Unity and Unreal Engines: Demonstrated proficiency in creating and implementing animations in both Unity and or Unreal engines.
- Portfolio or Work Samples: A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work is required. Candidates must submit samples of character animations, environmental effects, or other in-game animations that demonstrate both technical and artistic skills.
- Rigging and Skinning Expertise: A solid understanding of rigging and skinning processes to ensure clean, efficient animations.
- 3D Animation Skills: Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max for creating and refining animations.
- Collaborative Mindset: The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment, and to communicate effectively with team members across multiple disciplines.
Compensation:
- Equity Grant: An equity share in the company will be provided as part of the cofounder role.
- Salary Post-Funding: A competitive salary will be offered once the company secures funding.
