We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our team, this is a great opportunity to become part of an integral team who are operating in a high volume, fast paced environment. This role is not a design role, it’s an end-to-end customer focused delivery opportunity, balancing between interpreting, creating & producing digital drawings & 3D models from the customers specifications & requirements to aid in the programming of our profiling machines. We are looking for the right individual to help drive the company forward and be part of this exciting time for the business.

Producing digital drawings & 3D models from the customers specifications & requirements

Experience as a CAD Technician in a similar heavy industry environment, ideally within the steel industry
Expertise in Solidworks and ideally Artube Lasertube Programming Software
Must have confident computer skills & a good understanding of Microsoft Applications with excellent attention to detail.
A positive flexible attitude and approach.
Has worked in a similar CAD technologist role in the steel industry or similar heavy industry
