Field Engineer Position at Integrated Environmental Technology Group (IETG)

Due to a growth in the business, we're looking for people to join us on a permanent basis as Field Engineers - part of a small team working nationally, installing and maintaining flow monitors, water quality instrumentation, and auto-samplers into sewer pipes and rivers around the UK.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Install and maintain flow monitors, water quality instrumentation, and auto-samplers into sewer pipes and rivers.
  2. Work with teams on various wastewater and water projects around the UK & Ireland.
  3. Support water companies in managing sewer networks to prevent flooding, reduce pollution, and improve the health of rivers and bathing waters.
  4. Visit various sites, set up safely, and carry out equipment installation, calibration, or removal.
  5. Work outdoors and be comfortable in confined spaces and around raw sewage.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility towards hours and working away from home.
  • Ability to work well within a team and with a variety of different people.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to use own initiative.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

While previous experience in a similar environment is advantageous, full training will be provided. Candidates must be able to travel to Swillington for training.
