We offer ‘A great service’ by manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies complete to a wide range of customers in sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Motorsport (including Formula 1), Food/Scientific and Medical to name a few. Due to the expansion of our Grinding Department, we are seeking an experienced Precision CNC Grinder to join our busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis. Duties will include: Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department. Candidate Requirements: CNC Grinder
- CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage.
- Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
- A good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Must be a proactive team player.
- Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
- Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.
- Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills.
