Environmental Sustainability Manager
Up to £54,000 per annum DOE + Bonus + Early Finish on Friday + Pension + Extra Benefits
Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in driving sustainability within a large organisation looking for a new role that offers autonomy and able to make the role their own.
The company are a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area. This is a key role within the business, ensuring the legal compliance requirements are fulfilled, drive environmental and sustainability improvements across the organisation. Although this is a Manager position, it is currently standalone with no reportees. This is a new role for my client, as they look to improve their Sustainability and footprint of the business as a whole, so will suit the person who is looking for autonomy and able to sink their teeth into the role. Develop, lead and support key strategies for continuous improvement of Environmental, Social and Governance standards throughout the business processes
Provision of a fast and reliable response to all third-party enquiries and key asks related to sustainability.
Act as a leadership role model for the wider organisation to follow, demonstrating the appropriate leadership behaviours of Communication, Training, Teamwork and Recognition, in line with company goals
Strong experience within sustainability & environmental (Site Carbon footprint -Scope 1,2 and 3, CSRD reports etc)
Relevant bachelor's degree
