Working with the Head of Art and Design, the role covers the teaching of Food Technology as part of the design and technology curriculum. As a high school, Food Technology starts in Year 9 and completes the Key Stage 3 curriculum; covering food safety, nutrition and science, as well as developing a range of practical skills. At Key Stage 4, students have the opportunity to further their knowledge with a GCSE in Food Preparation & Nutrition which is a very popular and successful course.
