As Demand and Supply Planning Manager, the purpose is to create a CoE team of dedicated experts, based outside our Country Unit (CU). This will enable UK Demand Planners to be experts in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and APO.

Lead the Demand Planning team, responsible for team wellbeing, engagement, and personal performance. The role internally collaborates cross functionally with the leadership team, sales, marketing, shopper & customer, finance, logistics etc. as well as effective collaboration with the Centre of Excellence (CoE), Europe & North America Region (EUNA) and headquarters (HQ) to deliver the demand plan and S&OP process. Ensure demand planning processes are deployed and followed as designed and provide the demand forecast delivered to the supply units with confidence and accuracy. Deliver on KPIs - maintain the high forecast accuracy and ensure delivery of excellent service levels, inventory, and write-down/scrapping.

Your Tasks

Demand Planning & S&OP

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, identify and drive improvement initiatives to optimize performance.
  • Develop and continuously improve stakeholder relationships internally and externally to collaboratively improve business planning and operational excellence.
  • Further develop and optimize the Management Unit (MU) S&OP process to ensure alignment and integration across the broader organization.
  • Enrich statistical baseline forecast with promotional and launch uplifts, ensuring that demand forecasts accurately reflect market trends and customer order behaviour.
  • Collaborate closely with CoE team to ensure optimal stock distribution levels and co-develop agile processes that enable quick reaction to unforeseen market dynamics whilst ensuring product availability and minimizing critical stock and leftovers.
  • Support the optimization of the product assortment to reduce non-value adding complexity.
Team leadership and stakeholders

  • This role forms part of the Supply Chain UK leadership team and overall cross functional MU leadership team.
  • The role holder is responsible for creating an inspiring team environment with an open and trusted communication culture.
  • Setting clear team and individual goals, monitoring progress, providing support and guidance on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify training needs, ensuring team members have necessary skills and resources, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Identify and recognize high potential, investing in developing the team for future opportunities.
  • Encourage creativity and risk-taking.
Your Profile

  • 2-5 years' work experience in a similar function
  • Deep knowledge of Demand Planning (Incl. fundamentals for data analytics and reporting)
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Knowledge for Supply Planning is needed during transition phase
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Good general skills in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SAP & APO is considered a merit
