Position Overview:

As the C# Developer, you will take a leadership role in the design, development, and optimization of backend systems that power their insurance operations. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the innovation and success of their technology initiatives.

As a C# Developer you will play a key role in developing and maintaining software solutions critical to their insurance operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test C# applications, with a particular emphasis on utilizing .NET, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of technology initiatives and drive business success in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable C# applications tailored to the needs of our insurance business.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, software engineers, and quality assurance professionals to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Utilize .NET framework and associated technologies for building robust software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data integration, transformation, and workflow automation tasks.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and optimize performance of existing systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to C#, .NET, SSIS, and software development methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a C# Developer, with a strong focus on .NET development.
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and automated testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is advantageous
