We are recruiting new apprentices to join our growing team initially at our Loughborough site before moving to our state-of-the-art repair centre in Coalville. As well as classroom-based off-site block release training, you will quickly gain practical skills and work experience, learning while you earn, mentored by our team of senior technicians.

How to prepare surfaces including stripping, sanding, and masking areas
To attend all mandatory training as part of your apprenticeship standards
To complete all practical and theory work in line with the expectations of the apprenticeship
If your application meets the requirement, you will be contacted by EMTEC to complete a short interview and a Maths & English assessment. If successful at the assessment centre, you will be offered the apprenticeship role.

Commit to your apprenticeship for 3 years.
Have grade 4 or above in Maths and English or Functional Skills Level 2.
Have a flexible approach to working hours.
This is a Vehicle Damage Paint Apprenticeship programme, delivered by EMTEC Nottingham:
Awarding Body: Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI)
Training: This means you will be required to stay in a hotel for 12 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the duration of the program, which equals 4 weeks per year. All associated costs for training are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.
Mentorship: You will be assigned a dedicated Mentor/Development Coach who will visit you every 4-6 weeks either in the workplace or remotely via Microsoft Teams, giving 1-2-1 advice and guidance to help you achieve the following IMI qualifications:
Vehicle Damage Paint Technician Level 3
Functional Skills Level 2 in English & Maths (if required)
Be able to complete classroom-based, online (e-learning), and on-the-job training where applicable.
Be willing to travel for training as required (funded by the company).
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and standards.

Pay: Competitive salary, with a yearly discretionary bonus, based on your performance
