Purchasing Officer
Mostly remote with onsite requirements 2/3 times a month
£Iconic Resourcing are excited to be partnering with our clients as they are looking to wlecome a Purchasing Officer to their team on a full time and permanent basis reporting to the Relationship Manager.
This role will ensure delivery of quality goods and services within the required timelines, whilst demonstrating value for money and satisfying all regulatory compliance obligations. Check existing inventory availability and initiate supply chain sourcing if needed.
# Determine pricing and lead times through contract schedules, catalogues, or quotations.
# Identify and source alternatives if delivery dates cannot be met.
# Consolidate orders to minimize packaging and transport costs.
# Collaborate with the Logistics Team for inventory replenishment and international orders.
# Prioritise communication with stakeholders, engage in risk communication, and collaborate with logistics teams regularly.

Excellent purchasing experience across a range of categories, including working closely with suppliers.
# Experience of the full P2P cycle and working knowledge of Inventory Software.
# Good negotiation skills, across all commercial aspects of purchasing.
# Excellent data analysis abilities and software skills, including Microsoft Excel, proficient with Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI.
