Experience required…

Essential:

Highway design experience and experience in the management and delivery of s278 developer funded highway improvement schemes

Experience in carrying out technical approval of designs submitted to the local authority by external designers and in checking the design’s compliance with DMRB and industry standards

Good knowledge and understanding of NEC3/4 conditions of contract

Thorough understanding of DMRB and MCDHW (especially Vol 1 - Specification for Highway Works Series 100 – Series1200 inclusive)

Thorough understanding of Manual for Streets

Thorough understanding of the Road Safety Audit, Traffic Management Act and NRSWA processes
