Job Title: Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester
Location: Reading

Salary: Up to £40,000 basic (depending on experience and brand accreditations) + uncapped OTE of £12,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician with and/or MOT Licence to join our thriving Toyota Reading Dealership. Offering a competitive salary, exceptional earning potential, and guaranteed bonus during leave or training, this role is perfect for a technician looking to advance their career towards Senior or Master Technician status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MOT tests on customers' vehicles if you have the license.
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnosis using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Complete major and minor vehicle repairs with precision and efficiency.
  • Handle routine maintenance, including light and full-service work.
  • Order relevant parts and ensure repair and maintenance meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Service and Parts, keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Meet or exceed efficiency and productivity targets.
  • Carry out road tests and communicate findings with customers.

What You'll Need:

  • A valid NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • A valid MOT licence is prefered but not essential.
  • Proven experience working to efficiency and productivity targets.
  • A meticulous approach to work, ensuring no repeat visits for customers.
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to learn and grow, including hybrid vehicle knowledge.
