Ensuring safe and successful delivery of care optimisingpersonalised, patient centred care.Benefits of working with Nurseplusas a Paediatrics Nurse:Salary: £44,000 to £47,000 per annum (Dependingon Experience) + Car AllowanceJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time orPart-Time or Job-Share Considered, HybridCompany incentive schemesAstructured pathway for your career developmentContributory pensionschemeCompany Healthcare schemeCompany discounts scheme for highstreet retailersYour birthday offCycle to work schemeGenerousmaternity and paternity benefitsThe main duties of the PaediatricsNurse role include:Provide expert advice for children's care under thedirection of the Head of Clinical.Deliver complex care visits in thehome environment as needed.Supervise and train new staff members whenrequired.Support the development of children's services in partnershipwith cross-functional teams.Ensure service users are central to caredelivery, prioritizing their needs.Undertake and advise on careplanning activities and risk assessments.Promote and safeguard thewelfare of clients and service users, adhering to regulatory standardsand compliance with clinical governance.What we are looking for in asuccessful candidate:Experienced paediatric nurse dedicated todelivering best practice with flexibility andreliability.Self-motivated and compassionate professional with a 'cando' attitude, adept at problem-solving.Holds a full driving licenseand is willing to travel to meet service requirements.Registered withthe Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).Possesses a minimum of threeyears' post-registration experience as a registered children'snurse.Experienced in paediatric complex care.Experience in policydevelopmentEssential Skills:Cannulation, phlebotomy, and complexinfusion therapy experienceProficiency with syringe drivers andcomplex medicine managementFamiliarity with central venous access andPEG/gastrostomy careExperience with TPN, PICCs, tracheostomy care,ventilation, stoma care, and paediatric safeguardingCompetence incaring for various health conditions, including EpilepsyEvidence ofprofessional development and computer proficiency in Word, Excel, andPowerPointDesirable Skills:Experience in community-based complex caredeliveryHandling challenging behaviours and working with learningdifficulties and ASDKnowledge of rare diseases, along with supervisoryor management experience, and mentorship/training qualificationsAboutusNurseplus is a national company with a network of branches acrossthe UK.
