NPD Technologist

Our client is part of a fast growing group of companies. It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a world wide customer base.

We have a requirement for a full time NPD Technologist working on a day shift (7am-4.30pm) basis alongside the NPD Manager for the group of companies. The position is primarily based in Fraserburgh with occasional errands required as well as occasional travel to our site in Aberdeen.

Key Qualities we are looking for:

· Self motivated.

· Reliable.

· Ability to use initiative and be creative.

· Excellent communication skills with employees of all levels, from Operatives to Directors.

· Flexible, within NPD there is no rigid timetable for tasks, breaks, etc. Therefore flexibility is essential.

· Attention to detail and the ability to maintain this consistency.

· Enthusiastic, being interested in food and the development of products is essential.

· Ability to maintain confidential information.

· Willingness to attend events which may occur in the evenings or weekends and sometimes away from home.

· IT skills

· Ability to work in a small team but a high pressure environment.

· Driving licence with own transport would be preferred.
