Job Description

Certification Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in England

Responsibilities

  • Management of day-to-day certification process.
  • Implementation of the project certification strategy including inclusion of suitable certification requirements in Employer Requirements.
  • Liaison with the Certifier, the engineering team, contractors and other third parties (including regional authorities and regulators) to ensure the project is certified in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Familiarisation of the Engineering team with certification requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 3-year relevant professional experience, preferably within the (renewable) energy business.
  • High level understanding of the purpose and process of Certification for offshore wind farms.
  • Familiarity with high level industry standards.
  • Interdisciplinary and creative mindset, ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to understand the certification aspects of topics from a broad spectrum of technical disciplines.
  • Proven project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills, able to prioritize and work independently.
  • Proven experience in understanding a broad range of complex topics and explain them in a variety of stakeholder contexts.
  • Successfully completed university degree in the domain of technology, engineering.
