Could you be part of a team enabling Sheltered Housing tenants to live as independently as possible in their own home? Or are you looking to develop a career that makes a real difference to Sheltered Housing tenants?
As a Sheltered Housing Officer with Aberdeenshire Council you will provide support and assistance to people to maintain their tenancy and live independently in their own accommodation, within a Sheltered Housing Scheme and as part of their local community.
There are Sheltered Housing Schemes located in various communities in and around Aberdeenshire, we are looking for keen individuals with a flexible approach to be part of the Sheltered Housing team in Banff and Buchan. The post holder is required to work from various locations within a defined geographical area and travel to the various scheme/s.
00 every second Saturday & Sunday covering mostly Fraserburgh and Turriff
The successful candidate must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel across Aberdeenshire. There are training opportunities that will be provided for the successful candidate.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. This is a fixed term post for a period not exceeding 30 September 2024
