My EV Charging client seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Project Manager specializing in Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects related to Independent Connections Provider (ICP), high voltage substations, and HV connection systems. This individual will play a key role in overseeing the successful implementation of EV charging projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and timelines, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for EV charging infrastructure projects.
Coordinate and oversee all construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations 2015.
Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Oversee the design and construction of high voltage substations for EV charging projects.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the efficient integration of substations into the overall project.
HV Connection System Management:
Manage the installation and commissioning of high voltage (HV) connection systems for EV charging stations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay current with industry regulations and standards related to EV charging infrastructure, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, permits, and safety guidelines.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including ICPs, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Provide regular project updates and reports to management.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks to project timelines and budgets.
Implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure project success.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management, preferably with a focus on ICP processes, high voltage substations, and HV connection systems.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience working with renewable energy projects.
