The Studio This award-winning architecture and interior design studio, with offices in Notting Hill is known for creating characterful, thoughtfully layered spaces across residential, hospitality, and community projects. Their work blends architecture and interiors with a strong emphasis on materiality, craftsmanship while embracing expressive use of colour and a quietly playful sensibility that brings warmth and personality to every scheme. Projects span listed London townhouses, new-build homes, and sensitive refurbishments within conservation areas. There is no fixed style; instead, each project is approached as a unique collaboration, resulting in interiors that feel refined, individual, and deeply considered. The Opportunity In this role, you'll take the lead in shaping projects from the outset, driving concept development, material palettes, and spatial planning with a high degree of autonomy. You'll oversee design direction across all stages, ensuring each scheme stays aligned with programme, budget, and the studio's broader creative vision. Working within a small, close-knit team, you'll produce and review detailed drawing and specification packages, and coordinate directly with architects, project managers, and other consultants as needed. You'll maintain close relationships with clients and work side by side with the founders, taking responsibility of projects from concept through to completion The Candidate Leading multiple high-end residential projects from concept through to completion, taking full ownership of design development and client communication. Developing spatial layouts and FF&E schemes, including sourcing and procuring items to an approved budget. Producing detailed design intent drawing packs, including joinery details, and reviewing supplier technical drawings prior to production. Creating comprehensive specifications, managing budgets, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure design intent and quality are delivered. Overseeing all stages of FF&E procurement and installation, from scheduling and approvals to final dressing and handover. Preparing and leading client presentations, working closely with the founders to communicate concepts and design direction. Applying strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and a passion for materials within a small, collaborative studio environment. Drawing on 5+ years of experience in luxury residential design, with extensive knowledge of finishes, suppliers, and industry standards.
