Our European headquarters is based in Dublin, where we employ over 450 people in Trading, Quantitative Research & Technology across a range of trading strategies, including Exchange Traded Funds, Commodities, Options, Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives and Convertible Bonds.

Heights Capital – an affiliate of SIG – is a global investment team providing capital to high growth companies. In addition to investing in syndicated ECM transactions, we also look to make investments in publicly listed small and mid-cap growth companies on a sole investor basis, using bespoke equity-linked structures.

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 8+ years’ of experience on the buy-side or in the investment banking sector, specifically in roles as a banker or analyst. The ideal candidate will have significant experience or exposure to Equity Capital Markets (ECM).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively reaching out to companies and bankers to generate investment ideas and opportunities.
  • Conducting thorough analysis work related to potential investments as well as existing portfolio companies
  • Learning and contributing to the structuring of deals, including understanding, and handling detailed legal aspects.
  • Travelling to attend company conferences and industry events to originate new business

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ of experience in investment banking, investment management or private markets, preferably in the UK
  • Strong background and understanding of ECM
  • Solid understanding of Option Theory
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and networking
  • A proactive approach to sourcing and developing new business opportunities
  • A keen interest in learning about economic and legal aspects of deal structuring
  • Additional languages not a requirement but an advantage
