The International Head of Sales plays a pivotal role in leading and driving the commercial development of ELEMIS – from strategy definition to operational execution – across multiple countries and regions. This position requires a deep understanding of international markets, distributor-based business models, B2B & travel retail channels, excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets sustainably and in diverse cultural and business environments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and deliver the commercial development of ELEMIS internationally, formulating comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, taking into account regional nuances, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Build and lead a high-performing international sales team, fostering an inclusive, empowering, and result-driven culture with a passion to deliver added value to business partners and end consumers alike through the ELEMIS brand and products.
- Identify growth opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends with a consumer-centric and data-driven approach, fine-tuning the commercial execution of the Brand accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Establish in partnership with Commercial Finance a solid reporting and BI infrastructure, developing accurate sales forecasts and plans, monitoring performance metrics, supporting executive decision-making, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Identify new markets and expansion opportunities, develop market entry strategies, and lead initiatives to penetrate new markets effectively.
- Champion teamwork and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Own and manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize expenses to maximize ROI and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and mitigate risks associated with international sales operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years’ experience and proven track record of success in international sales leadership roles, preferably in the Beauty, Fashion or Luxury industries.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record in rolling-out and scaling-up rapidly established/indie brands or start-ups internationally.
- Strong understanding of retail and wholesale channels across international markets, cultural differences and business practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience managing and motivating diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
