Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Assistant:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will assist the nursery staff in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction.
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where children can learn and thrive.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will assist with daily routines, including meal times, toileting, and outdoor play, ensuring the well-being and happiness of all children.
Contribute to observations and assessments of children's development, helping to monitor progress and plan next steps.
Qualifications and Skills of a Nursery Assistant:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring approach to working with children.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and education.
