Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NPD (New Product Development) Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Science, preferably with a placement year during their degree. Assist the NPD team in the development of new products from concept to launch.
Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to support the NPD process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Production to ensure successful product launches.
Assist in the management of product specifications, documentation, and compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards.
Monitor project timelines and ensure key milestones are met.
Provide administrative support to the NPD team, including data entry, report preparation, and meeting coordination.

A degree in Food Science or a related discipline is essential.
A placement year or relevant experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly within NPD, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
