The scope of Operations stretches from Procurement through conversion (distillation and maturation) and manufacturing (or bottling) to all the downstream Supply Chain activities until the final product is delivered.
In addition, Operations play a very active role in Innovation, Talent Development and Operational Risk Management.
The Health & Safety (H&S) Manufacturing team of 4, support our largest site in Dumbarton, where the Bottling and Distribution of our products is carried out. Onsite we have over 800 colleagues working across 17 Bottling Lines, Inbound and Outbound Warehouses, a Vatting Complex and Tanker Stations as well as our onsite offices.
The Health & Safety Lead will support the implementation of our Manufacturing Health & Safety (H&S) Strategy though the engagement of employees and management of projects and initiatives. You will have the opportunity to put your stamp on our operations as we seek to elevate our Health & Safety performance, systems and culture.
Strategy Implementation – to implement the Manufacturing H&S strategy through the frontline coaching of all line managers and employees. 
You will provide competent, expert risk management and H&S advice to the business.
Reporting & Compliance – to report and monitor H&S data and develop, implement, audit and maintain H&S Policies and Standards. You will ensure compliance with all existing and new H&S legislation and conduct audits and risk assessments.
Incident Management – to support with problem resolution including formal incident and / or complaint investigation.
Internally , you will collaborate with all departments across the Manufacturing organisation at all levels, including Bottling, Vatting, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and HR.
Externally , you will collaborate with suppliers, regulatory organisations and trade bodies to ensure delivery of services to the highest standard.
Your blend of talent
Have a degree or similar level education in a relevant discipline and / or a professional Health & Safety Qualification, ideally being a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) or Graduate IOSH.
Have experience in a Health & Safety Advisor or Specialist role, gained in a Manufacturing environment such as Drinks, FMCG, Food or similar industry sector.
