This role is initially a FTC 12 months, with a strong possibility the role could be offered on a permanent basis.
This is an award winning company, operating in the highly buoyant construction sector, helping deliver critical buildings to clients such as the NHS and the MOD. Processing weekly PAYE payroll, end to end using SAGE 50 Payroll software and the CIS payroll hours via a third party pay provider.
Reconciling both payrolls into SAGE 50 Accounts. Calculating weekly pension information and submitting to the Pension provider (Peoples Pension)
Logging individual van tracker activity during private hours, calculating and informing drivers of deductions.
Manage absences, annual holiday requests, track allowances and authorisations.
Answer all payroll related queries accurately and in a timely manner.
General office admin, scanning, filing, shredding.
Previous payroll experience, with a knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory payments and deductions.
Excel proficient, including creating and formatting spreadsheets.
PC, Microsoft literate.
Able to work alone as well as part of a team.
This is a full time role, based in the office.
