As a leader in their sector our client understands that packaging is crucial to their success and are now looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Packaging Buyer to join their team and ensure the packaging meets the high-quality standards while remaining cost-effective and sustainable.

As the Packaging Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing all packaging materials required for our products. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to our sustainability goals. You will work cross functionally to ensure that all packaging solutions align meet the operational needs.

You’ll identify areas for cost savings and execute these without compromising on quality.

By working cross functionally in the business you’ll monitor inventory levels and develop processes to ensure the business is bringing the right amount in at the right time.

You’ll lead initiatives to incorporate more sustainable packaging option in line with our environmental goals and you’ll stay update to date on market trends and innovation with regards to packaging materials.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in packaging procurement, you must be able to hit the ground running within the packaging sector

* Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.

* Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and sustainability practices.
