Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Inspector to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis, with potential for extension. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting their renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on Electrical Inspection & Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical inspection, testing, and maintenance on renewable energy systems, including solar panels, wind turbines, and battery storage systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed, including test results, maintenance logs, and equipment records.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical inspection and testing procedures, including familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and diagnosing faults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving licence is essential due to the remote location of our client's facilities.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £30 - £60, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
